The Puget Sound: A Fascinating Fjord
A playground for nature-lovers, the Puget Sound was formed over 13,000 years ago. Hood Canal is renown as a diving mecca as its glacial fjord formation caused by underwater biomes that appear no where else. We'll take a sail to explore the depths of these waters during our time together.
You'll Be Staying Here
The Wilcox House
Right across the Hood Canal from Olympic National Park is a magical, historical place that the noise of the outside world can't touch. Built in 1938 (the same year Olympic National Park was established) this storied lodge once entertained the likes of John Wayne, Clark Gable and Ernest Hemingway. Now it's your turn.
We have included some time in our itinerary for you to explore on your own, which can look as active or as restful as you wish.Take a stroll through the gardens or ride the gentle waves on a SUP board. There are no rigid rules at this nature retreat.
